FWB Does the FWB 124 have a Walnut stock?

I see nothing inaccurate about what Motorhead stated. If you read closely, his post says that low numbers of 124/127 Deluxe models were produced by FWB in walnut, which is correct. In his first sentence he only states that the Factory Walnuts were not "mass produced".
Many of those factory walnuts ended up in the US market and some in the European market.

Far as I know or noticed ... FWB NEVER produced in normal mass production any WALNUT stocks for the 124 series rifles.
Now special units in low numbers were produced by FWB 124/127 "D's" in walnut and demanded much increased selling/ purchase costs being marketed as special grades based on how fancy they looked.
The production Standard and Deluxe versions ( 124/127 and the deluxe/s 124D/127D ) were in Beech and typical with organic "Wood" could look plain jane to fancy jane but were still Beech.

I've seen Beeman catalogs from the late 70's threw latter 80's where Robert Beemans catalogs indeed hyped his special walnut offerings for said rifle along with HW's and others.

Pictures shared above ... appear to be all Beeches ... IMO

Wow, I definitely did not fully read this post before I reacted. This man is a living legend. He has probably forgotten more about FWB 124 than I will ever know.

Walnut was offered as a Beeman option on right-hand 'Deluxe' guns - per the linked 1984 brochure from Danny Garvin's Gallery, the upcharge was only $30 at the time! I've seen two walnut 124's; one had interesting grain but the other was rather plain.

One sold this past year on a site similar to the one Randall bought from . The serial number was correct. Pictures were clear showing Open grain walnut stock.

That may be the one that went straight to eBay and resold: short scope removed. Walnut, but grain was kinda bland.

For clarification, there were two types of walnut stocks in the Beeman/FWB world. One is the normal factory Deluxe stock except made of walnut, which I mentioned in post #23 above. The other is the Beeman Custom Stock as shown in post #33 - this was a US design with (usually) quite striking grain, checkered handgrip +forend, wood grip cap, and cast trigger guard. In the 1984 Newsletter, the 124D Walnut was $329 while the Custom guns were $555 to $645 depending on caliber and grade of wood.

To dig in even deeper: Throughout Beeman's reign, he offered at least four custom styles of walnut stocks for the FWB 124/27 guns. Plus, the FWB factory deluxe walnut.

Exactly. They probably sold one walnut gun for every 1000 deluxe versions. i remember buying mine in 1980 ish. It was about 180-200 dollars. I could barely afford that let alone a walnut stock one..

Well I hope it is walnut, grain is nice. I bought the lot to get the 124 because the stock looked better than usual. The super tune D124 has a different sling swivel than my rifle but after reading the Beeman catalog I think that the one pictured above could have had an upgrade to walnut .

Here's a thread I posted on FWB 124 factory walnut stocks. I've owned many and still have a version complete with paperwork. They were denoted with a "w" after the order number.
As mentioned, they were produced only one year and usually in the 50xxx serial number range although I've seen a 49xxx.
