I won't try to talk you out of a new gun but on the AF Talon SS, does 'broken' mean it leaks, or that the bottle (or the mount to the gun) is physically damaged?

Air force uses lother walther barrels. While not much to look at, they are more accurate than most shooters. They don't have the refinement of high end guns , they live by the KISS principle ( Keep It Simple Stupid). There is nothing wrong with staying with what you are comfortable with and selling what is left of the talon ss.

I also had a “broken” one in .22, as the top hat was always lose and the cylinder leaked. Got rid of it after I had it fixed. As for the accuracy, I guess it was okay under 50yds, it was about 1 inch, and that was with the JSB 15.89s. I don’t have velocity readings, but I believe they were in the 800-900 range.

The accuracy is about 1 inch, is it worse than Flash or about the same? I watch the video like this, I'm not sure

The flash, with the right pellets will give you decent 100yd accuracy, which is WAY better than my results in the TalonSS. For a 400$ PCP, it’s much better than what airforce offers in my opinion. You should watch AEAC’s video on it. Steve gets some pretty good results with it. It also has much more power than the Talon out of the box. I’d get rid of that talon and get a flashpup. It also has tons of aftermarket parts also.

The Talon and Flashpup Both when compared in 22 have around the same accuracy about an inch or less at 50 but IMHO the Talon seems to have a little better quality. I would just repair the Talon and enjjloy it.

Send me pics of the damage let se how can I help you..if you want it fixed...parts are cheap unless the damage was done with a truck..it should be a easy fix..

There is currently no way. I send the bottle to a nearby factory to see if there is a way to separate the bottle from the valve

You can replace both the valve and the bottle cheaply, but if you want to trade for a Hatsan there are probably a dozen people here with Hatsans that would happily trade if you can match the value. Depends on the condition. If I had a Hatsan I would exchange that before you knew what was what
