Does anyone else

have to take their glasses off to get a clear site pic? I can't adjust my AO anywhere to get a sharp look at the target. For some reason my progressive glasses don't like the scope. If I take them off I can see a grasshopper blink at 30 yards on 9 power setting. My glasses seem to add a 3rd dimension to parallax. Without my glasses I have to load pellets by feel. Sure is aggravating.

I have the same problem. I don't wear my glasses when I shoot off the back porch at home.
But when I go to the Field Target matches I need my glasses to see the lanes and find the knockdown targets, so I have to wear them. I just let let them ride low on the bridge of my nose and look over the top of the glasses when I take the shot.

I have had an issue with this that changes between scopes. I only have to wear reading glasses, no prescription. With my Redfield Revolution I have to wear them, with the Weaver steel tube and Leupold vari-x III's I don't, but either the crosshairs or target will be slightly out of focus, my choice. With the hawke, which is geared towards air rifles I don't have to wear them and can achieve a crisp focus from 8 ft on out.I have considered buying the leupold 50ft attachment for closer focus with the vari-x III's. Jamieinmd says it works.

jamieinmd. Haven't yet. I need to have my eyes checked again before long. I thought about taking my scope with me and look through it while he is asking me "is that better or worse?" Figure he won't have a sense of how important it is to be able to see perfectly through a scope while wearing glasses.
I wonder if he can put an extra lense in the front of the scope to counteract my problem?
