Does ANYBODY have a Renegade ????

Looking at both Renegades and Regal XLs. Anyone care to chime in? (Looking at other stuff too, but for this discussion Daystate vs Daystate only) The Renegade is more expensive, but brings a case, electronic trigger, more air capacity (shots), it's shorter, has picatini rail, both have the Harper system, and they are throwing in free binoculars at AoA right now with purchase of Renegade. So, what are your $0.02s ????

I would get the Renegade I have been wanting one for a while. I love technology and ultimately would like the Pulsar, but the Renegade is obviously less expensive. I just sold my Air Ranger and the gun was beautiful but not as unique as the Renegade being that it has that solenoid based trigger release. The Ranger does have a beautiful Walnut Stock as Im sure the Regal does. AOA had one for 1095 in .25 for a while but sold it the day after I had sold my Ranger so i missed it. I think eventually the modern day mechanical trigger will cease to be used as weapon advancements are made.

Sorry don't have one but strongly considered it. Seems like if you are considering it you should also consider the Wildcat in the price and form factor range.

Trigger on Renegade will be better for sure. I think Renegade has a bit more power out of box in 22, less in 25. Wildcat more shots. Wildcat is much more common so more online support for it. Wildcat is about 1.5lbs lighter.

I came really close to getting Renegade that trigger is awesome and everything I read about it was positive. I ended up going with Taipan Veteran, Renegade in .25 is underpowered and I wanted .25.

"NMshooter"AOA now have the HP version. In .25 caliber. It claims to shoot up to 50 FPE getting 50 shots. Daystate is finally getting the US market!
I saw that. But believe or not, max power is not what I'm interested in. I'm good with 30, and love the adjustable power of guns like the Streamline (but it's kinda large/long)
Accuracy, reliability, quietness, in a smaller package is what I want/need. I shoot and pest in my yard, suburb with close neighbors. The Renegade may just be a second gun at some point. I'm gonna give the Compatto a go for now I think.
