do you recommend ATN 4K scopes?

I have a 4K Pro and would recommend them for the nighvision but nothing beats an optical scope for daytime use. You loose resolution when using a digital scope how much depends not only on your original screen resolution but on the digital magnification. Still they do werq quite well during the day so it would not be a problem for the most part. But remember batteries do not last forever and optical scopes don't need them.

Depend. Do you want grainy quality when comes to scope cam filming or do you want HD quality? The atn is a bit grainy and gets worst when you zoom in. You can slap on a good phone or gopro and get 4k videos for best quality filming. If you just want to be able to record or just for nightvision and dont care about the quality then the atn is for you.

Pro's = night vision, multiple profiles for diff guns/ ammo, ballistic calc, recoil activated video, video recording (goto hunting and see vids I took with it daytime), 18 hour battery life, ffp mil dot reticle, very accurate, and a whole lot of other cool features.

Cons = heavy pig. Grainy at high magnification.

I personally love mine, especially for winter plinking/hunting when the days are so short. I definitely prefer a real optic in daytime, though. With the ATN quick release mount it is easily and quickly transferable to another rifle, holds zero incredibly well. I'm constantly juggling it between 4 rifles.

I guess it's what you use it for. I have a Night Force on one Crown and the ATN 5-20 on another. For target the NF for hunting the ATN. I have $1000 in the ATN with range finder on it eith rings setup for day or night. As for shooting targets with the ATN I was surprised, I can see very well a 1/4" dot at 50 yards and have not really looked much beyond and the computer in it is great.
