Do these pumps actually work?

March 5, Wineel High Pressure Hand Pump arrived from Amazon, paid $50. Worked great on Umarex Gauntlet but is a real workout on FX Wildcat MK3 (.30) and M3 (.25.)

Filling new M3 yesterday pump blew small O ring from inside center plunger right up metal shaft. Tank was at 200 bar. Checked out several repair videos and tore it apart. NO LIQUID COOLANT! No wonder got so hot. One you're checking out states is liquid cooled, as in both repair videos. Pump will work without fluid but runs hotter and will damage rubber seals. I've heard you can verify liquid installed by shaking, maybe good idea. I'll be filling mine with mineral oil or antifreeze, but going Yong Heng very soon.

I do 40 pumps, 15 minute cool down, 40 pumps, 15 minute cool down, repeat. Also, full up, pause, full down, pause. Wasn't bleeding pump between breaks. During break, with gun at 200 bar, big, loud whoosh. Didn't know problem then, took a day to figure out and repair. Liquid coolant would have helped pump stay cooler and to cool down more efficiently. I'll bleed pump at breaks now, but need to install coolant first. Upon disassembly, was surprised to find black, greasy gunk on everything. Think Chinese need to improve lubricant choices. Cleaned everything and used quality silicone for lubrication. Much smoother now.
