Do I Keep My Athlon Argos BTR Gen1?

SO I have athlon argos seems like a solid scope haven't had a lot of time behind it so looking for input from others that have. I recently got a great opportunity to get my impact and want to make sure I top it with something it deserves but also staying reasonably priced. I am still on the fence about FFP anyway so thats not deal breaker. Mtc , Aztec, vortex, element etc is there something better that I should be looking at in the $300-$400 range.

I have had my gen 1 argos since they first came out and have been very pleased and satisfied with it. Trouble, free, clear, reliable tracks well... Unless someone is a major knob twiddler and can't keep track of turret zero, perhaps the gen 2 would be better due to a zero stop, however, that can be taken care of via Athlon's own zero stop solution. Unless you are really wanting something newer and different, why spend the money on something you already have?

I know the G2 Argos BTR is a more refined scope but for 5 years the G1 has been fine.

Mainly a zero stop and turrets that line up better are what you get with the G2.

Nothing wrong with just using what you have unless you can find a better one for less money than you sell your Athlon for.
