Do any of you cascade fill?

I don't see it discussed here and I'm wondering if any of you cascade fill? I already have a Great White CF tank and a Guppy. I called Joe B. yesterday and placed an order for another Great White tank with his cascade fill assembly. Do any of you have Joe B's cascade fill assembly? If you have pics, could you please post them?

I don't even know what it looks like lol. I've seen the Cascademan fill assembly from Airtanksplus.com but figured I would order from Joe because I needed to pick up another tank. The main reason I ordered the cascade fill assembly is for air efficiency getting the most fills out of the tanks and because of this...

SHE IS HUNGRY!!!
So Is the bank account 🤣

WOW I never even knew this Understood though pretty cool stuff, Dont know if Il be using so far I got 1 6.8 liter tank an a 3liter, but fill whips get to 4350 psi an thats a lotta wasted air when I air up the avenger the longer the whip the more wasted, So when im tuning in slugs I think il just tether my 3 liter tank to the gun cuz you only get 30 shots a fill on that power. Cascading makes more sense if you have a gun with a bottle like 300+ cc mine is only 180, You are pressuring that fill whip you would need to get a tiny tiny one to make it worthwhile with smaller cc guns Id think.

Cascade filling is the way to go.

Is it practical for like 200 cc tank?? I dont think so as the fill whip has some a bit of air that would get wasted its getting up to 4350 in that whip say if im doing some shootin right, okay I shot my avenger 180 cc tank down to 2100 psi right, Okay I fill it to 3700 with first tank top it the remainder 650 psi, Well I mean thinking about it yea I still think it be the better way to go, Imma start doing that man thats a good method for sure whoever first though of that thats good an luckly I just got my 2nd tank like a week ago an my first is a 6.8 2nd is a 3 liter one .

I SHOULD OF BEEN ON THIS ITS SO USEFULL for the high psi guns like my avenger WHAT AM I THINKING DAMN, I just though about it an the avenger gets all its shots from 4350 psi like you can have it at 3500 an youl only get 30 shots to 2100 psi from 4350 you get a little over 100 shots so I mean this is something I should of seen earlier. I can now use bulk of the air on my 3 liter an top off 6.8 or vice versa but I think il keep the 6.8 high pressure as Im always trying to reach the highest cuz below 4350 you already will start getting a lower shot count.

I rarely, if every completely fill my guns. Any pressure over what your regulator is set at, is shootable air. I usually just put just enough to give me the shots I need. That way, I'm also storing my guns right around regulated pressure.

new to air tanks!.

Is there a case for short/shorter fill whips, there sure sounds like a lot of waste when bleeding after fills.
One way to minimize air loss is to add an Edgun Eazy-fill. Tiny air loss of air in gun only.

I have been using the manual method, described above, without any "setups" for so long that I don't even think about it anymore. It is good that you bring it up because it hasn't been discussed much for a while now, and newer members could surely benefit. It really does extend the time between filling my tanks. If you have 2 tanks, it's a no-brainer/why not, kind of a deal.

I have cascaded scuba tanks, scba tanks and compressors.

For the scuba/scba tanks you need to build a manifold that connects the two tanks together and has an outlet for your fill hose which needs a bleed valve and female foster end.

When filling, start with your lowest pressure tank that has a residual pressure lower than what your pcp needs, open the valve to fill the maximum it will fill, shut it off then finish the fill with your higher pressure tank. If you have a two tank manifold, it is nice to have a third tank to take to your scuba shop and to replace your lowest pressure tank. I did this with scba before I owned compressors.

For scba, I had a three tank manifold and both filled from it and shot tethered from it.

I mentioned cascading compressors, this works well if you want to run smaller compressors to feed and drive a booster type pump to fill tanks or cop’s, here is an example.

I hope this helps,

Me too, I would never store it at 4350, But getting the shot count out of the avenger you have to get it to 4350, So id just say fill it to 4350 an shoot my 100 shots or whatever, its only 180 cc but I work with what I got for now.

I've got 2 avengers. I never fill them that full. A 3000 fill will still give you a TON of shots.

Mine eazy fills have always seeped air. Changed out o-rings and internals, and still leak. I've given up on them. I think over a full bottle, the amount of air you lose bleeding a line is miniscule.

I personally don’t have one but a friend does and his seems to work well.
I imagine the tee fitting with two male fosters that have a six inch or so HP line that go to your SCBA’s
and the line going to your gun just long enough to fill guns would minimize air waste.
But I do agree, especially with microbore lines, the air wasted during bleeding is very low.

What are you shooting 15 foot pounds?, when im plinkin its 27+much lower I wont get a pop out of whatever I hit.
LOL, no. I guess "ton" of shots is a matter of perspective. They are collecting dust now, but I know I was over 900fps with hades in both of them. Can't remember the exact 'tune' I was using. The reg on my .22 is set ~1800, so yeah a 3000psi fill yields quite a few shots. Make sure your hammer isn't set too high, you might be wasting air?

I was tuning in slugs today I had 31 grains an 28 grains an the 28s 22 cal btw shooting 2700- 2850 on the reg with 5 turns in, Something weird happened the 31 grain .175 didnt even fire it just went an hit the donny fl barrel adapter an deformed the tip a bit, I dont know due to the grains or .175 head size but the 31 grains drop like a good bit compared to the 24 grains which dont drop like at all at 48 yards compared to the 28s an 31s. Are my slugs very slow? like 600 fps? why are they dropping so much only like 4 grains of difference from 28 to 24 grains. Did I go to high in grains for 22 cal?
