Do Any Exist In The $300 Range.....

I'd try to stretch it alittle if you could. This is one I'm looking at very very closely. Street price of $499 though.

That one is sweet for sure and saw when CHUCK reviewed it. I would love to have an optic like that but its probably out of budget for some time. I am a stay at home dad for over 4 years now and no true income for goodies, I spent the last year selling my crossbows, a few powder guns and other gear to get the collection of airguns I have and because Ernest keeps selling me his personal guns I am running short on funds. I have a few nice optics but they all are on the large and heavy side which isn't a big deal since I do most of my stuff off a tripod but there are a few of my guns that could benefit from a shorter lighter scope. So my .30 impact is set with the crimson 5 series and that's the most I have spent on a day scope, next is my .25 compact impact with a alpha 6 and that could benefit from a lighter scope since its has the capabilities to walk with, next is a .22 compact crown set for low power and because it has the chassis it could also benefit from a lighter compact scope and for now it has the atn 4k 3-14 that I rotate with them all when needed. Last is a veteran standard .25 which also has a alpha 6 also could benefit from a lighter scope.

Sure they exist, but how long do you want them to last? Next is what type of rifle? A 300 dollar scope wont stand up to a heavy hitting springer...

Over many, many years I have purchased numerous budget scopes, most were an excelkent buy for the money....after a few years I got tired of having them fail and send them in for repairs andcwaiting weeks for their return! Then I got smart...started buying Burris and Leupold scopes....yikes they are expensive!!!!! Yep they are, but....I have never needed to have one fixed due to a failure! I have sent them in for upgrades and other imorovements but NO failures. My Burris was 15 yrs old when I sold it, now my Leupold is over 30 yrs old and just as good as the day it was new! So look at it this way...a 300 scope sent in for repair once a year or failing completely over how many years before you end up buying another....or spend big bucks and never have a worry and any repair is free for life and returned within 10 days and can be upgraded at any time to suit your needs...I spent thousands over many years on budget scopes, then I spent 1500 on 2 top of the line scopes and never spent another dollar ......these have been used on heavy springer rifles and my TX200 fac with no issues.

@brawler1588, pretty impressive collection of rigs for a "stay at home dad"

. Sell one rig and you can outfit the three remaining rigs with some better glass? Good luck in your quest.

If they all weren't custom and Ernest Rowes guns from his personal collection I could but I don't think I can let any of these go, might just need to find some more gear to sell....
