N/A Do ALL Regulators use Belleville Style Washers?

Im curious if ALL manufactures of airguns that utilize regulators, use Belleville style washers to regulate the flow of air?
Are there any other "styles" of regulators , or perhaps a completly different technology, that works effectively, for high pressue air?

Lane regulators from England I believe uses springs in theirs and are of good quality from everything I've seen and read.

I'm thinking they also use Belleville washers cause if you order one you have a option to get spare parts and one of them is the washers

Yes, it looks like some models do and some do not.
I suppose its a matter of size.
Seems like a great idea, when possible, to use a single compression spring, as opposed to multiple Belleville washers.
I just spent an hour watching several of their videos, attempting to educate myself.
Very intersting products.

Lane and RTI have had regulators with springs.
Last Lane regulator I purchased is bellvile and all RTI are now bellvile.

Compression springs are much larger and unable to hold the same level of force. Bellevilles are pretty much ideal for a regulator.

Nope. Electronic solenoid just flings a hammer at the same mechanical valve as the BRK Ghost

The older BSA pcps like the scorpion used a reg with a big coil spring in them. They were utter rubbish. Mostly since they weren't vented to atmosphere though, not necessarily because of the spring.

BSA Super 10 was a coil. It was also vented. Worked fine but bellevilles are better than coil for such short movements in a reg.

I found this Lane video, very educational.
Basically, they claim there are both pros and cons of either regulator style (Belleville VS. compression).
The very last portion of the video, he sums up everything very well.
