I wanted to try out CO2 pistols as I thought they would some fun not too expensive plinkers. I’m not talking about single shot target pistols, rather the Umarex 8-shot real steel replicas. I read through the reviews on Pyramyd and also all of the review articles and I got that these pistols may have POA and POI off a bit. But seriously, I got a Beretta 92FS, the new Sig P320, Walter CP88 competition with 6” barrel. All of these guns can create 10 - 15 yard groups under 2” (probably more if I practiced) yet I am totally turned off by how bad the POA/POI is. On almost all of them the pellets are landing almost 6” from where I am aiming. It’s totally frustrating as there is nothing you can do to adjust the scopes short of pulling out a metal file.
Am I missing something? How can you charge $300 for a CO2 replica pistol and it can’t even hit the damn target.
Rant over - sorry!
