DIY Pellet Trap

DIY
It was time to upgrade my old duct seal pellet trap
Pellet trap - (some pistol rounds)
1/8 plywood to staple targets
Tub size to your preference - 24 Gal.
Rubber mulch - to max fill 5 bags, 4 were left in the bag the last one open on top.
Safe Shooting

Great idea.
I saw this online about 3 years ago. I finally found some plastic storage containers on sale at Costco about 2 years ago and changed out all my rubber mulch wooden target boxes.

I switched to a lite weight version since I shoot below 12 FPE.

I just stuff the containers with used clothing (other possible stuffing materials include, carpet, rubber mats etc). No issues with penetration so far even at 10 yards.

Also saw another innovation online recently, someone was using magnets to hold target papers in position. Instead of clips, staples or tape.

I'm getting too old to be lugging around those heavy rubber mulch target containers/boxes.

Edit
The edges are vulnerable to shooter error ...Probably a good idea to reinforce the edges with wood or metal (metal is probably better) strips for longevity.
