DIY hunting blind

I looked around to buy one, they ranged from 3 to 5 hundred.So I built one,for under 1 hundred.
Ribs are 1/2" PVC..Floor frame is 2"x2" s.
4'x4'x6'...Weight 25 pounds...Fits in the back of my short bed Silverado1500 4x4

Then wrapped it in a tarp.To keep(up to 2 shooters) warm & dry.

Then a camo canvas wrap ,over the tarp.

Then cut out 'roll up windows' total of 3

And away we go

Experimented with different camo webbing 

Then its tenderloin time enjoy

It amazes me the things that go through our heads ...if ur like me ...i see something .anywere and am like wow that would be a great hide or target. .i wad playing with my son and his little house and am like a couple cans of black and green spray paint and i got something' good luck pat

I wonder where you bought the camo fabric? Last year, I bought the remains of a bolt of Realtree from Hobby Lobby for .99¢ a yard. I'm not sure I'd go to the trouble you did, but at least I have the fabric if I do!

 I Picked the camo fabric up at Walmart(cheap) and it covered the entire blind w/o seams .It wasn't hard to build just took some time to figure out what size to make it.One thing,it will keep you Dry & Warm on those rainy cold hunting days.A couple folding chairs & 2 shooters are comfy all-day.

The only screws used were on the 2"x2" base.Along with these brackets at each corner .

Roll-up windows @ 'right height' to shoot out of while sitting inside, on a fold up chair.

"Imold"Nicely Done. How long are the pvc pipes?

They are 10 ft long.........After the base 2x2s were laid out. And the corner brackets secured,I drilled the base 2x2s every 12" (to insert both ends of the 10ft PVCs). THIS made the 'arch' on all of them all the same.

Also ALL the wood strips for the horizontal side support, and angled end wood strips supports (shown in the opening post picture) are ALL 1/4" x 1.50" cut to lengths as needed.All are secured with zip-ties.Makes for a lightweight yet strong structure.
