diy carbon fibre pistol silencer tau 7

OK so i shoot target pistol at home and have baikal 46m and tau 7. The Tau 7 being co2 makes a hell of a crack, i like the luxury of shooting when i want, 7 am sunday morning and all and of course have neighbours. So i set about making a silencer because this type of gun is shot single handed it cannot weigh much. The outer tube is carbon fibre, on the first version i used metal washers internally to form the chambers and it weighed 85 grams. The second version i used fibre glass to make the washers and the weight was 65 grams. The usual method of construction is to use internal spacers to hold the washers in place, the spacers being another tube section that fits tight inside the outer tube.. I wanted to reduce weight further and so did away with the internal spacers and used the sound absorbent wading itself. I covered the edge of the wading that buts up against the washer with a lot of glue. When the glue dries the washer is held in place in total. So the final version, outer tube carbon fibre, washers glass fibre and absorbent sheet glue edged. The glue hold the whole thing in place. The final version 46 grams. 9 inches (230mm). To give some comparison my weihrauch silencer is 110 grams. Gun is so silent so think its done.

thanks Also started with a 8mm washer hole, reduced to 7mm, no effect on accuracy.
