Throw them out in the road to make road pizza yum?
Many farmers will burn them. For smallish animals city dwellers including myself most will bag or double bag and toss them in the garbage can.

Buzzard bait...I have a serious slope out back down to a dry creek bed that has uncrossably steep sides to the hillside on the other side, which is my backstop for shooting. Just deposit the critters down there and let nature take it's course!

I leave mine where I hit him. The smaller stuff I have a fox that lives in the back. He takes care of that. Coyotes and buzzards take care of the rest. It's always gone by the next day. They drag off the whole carcass to the fields so it's a total cleanup. Oh I've had some feathers here and there but, the mower cleans those up lol

Green waste bin! For the bigger stuff like skunk and squirrels I just toss them into the open fields close to me.

Very back of my yard, they decompose or get taken by other animals. But I try to process as many squirrels as I can.

Decoys for future hunts, left in the hedgerows as food for foxes, or in the case of rats into the compost bin.

I guess it’s all up to the land owner. Ask them if they have a spot on their property where you can put the dispatched pest. If your on public land in a high traveled area. I’d at least try to toss the dead into some brush. Just to get it out of sight.

I bring get well balloons and attach them to the wrists, then leave them sitting on the benches at the parks they were shot in.

I found that quite funny. I appreciate your dark humor.
But to answer the question: Personally, I try to eat everything I kill. However, I do not eat animals that upon inspection appear to be unhealthy or otherwise questionable. Those get left in the brush for the other critters to handle. Unless, of course, it appeared to have some sort of transmissible disease such as rabies, in which case it would be burned and buried.

If you leave them by your house behind a fence or something you better not have any cats that go outside. The coyotes will be drawn in to the smell and probably eat your cat. I double bag and garbage can them as well. Maybe take them to a local park and throw in the trash there? That could be bad advice but I've done it.

Be sure to remove all of the identifying marks such as tatoos and hands and feet and especially teeth first IE- dental records.

We leave them for the Possums, Coyotes and the Yellow Jacket Hornets, them Hornets can strip a 2 lb Bunny overnight, Rattlers are stripped to the bone in a couple hours, Rats are picked up by the Possums...... Natures Cleanup Crew....

Tossed away from and behind the house. I've only ever had one that lasted as long as a second day, and that one was gone by three. All the rest claimed overnight.

You can always bury them a couple inches below a garden or something. Will decompose and not bad fertilizer but I usually end up skinning them real quick and frying them up.
