Discovery VT-Z 4-16×44SF scope

What does everyone think of this scope?

It was given to me free several years ago by someone on either this forum or GTA - can't remember which or who (retired old-guy syndrome).

I really like it and it works well for me and my shooting. I was just curious, because I don't see many people talking about Discovery scopes.

There has been talk about Discovery scopes, good scopes for the money,your scope is at the lower end, it still is an excellent scope for the price. My opinion is that you would have to spend a lot more for something better. I have it and I have better, but I'm leaving it on the rifle, it is on

I have an old VT-Z, 4.5x18x44, FFP. It's one of my favorites! Does everything I need it to. What's not to like? Discovery scopes have been discussed here MANY times.

I own 2 and they are easily equal to Arken

I have a couple older Discovery scopes that really well for me.

I have an older vt-r scope it's been superb I'm always looking on eBay to see if there are any. Paid $75 for it. Ever time one pops up it's closer to $200 now. Absolutely amazing scope for the price I paid for it.

Good pricing on Amazon for these scopes, less than going thru DiscoveryOpt website and a lot easier to return if there’s a problem
