I have a D 54 with a VT-T 6x24 on it. Have only put about 400 pellets thru it so far but no problems yet.

Supposedly they are tough scopes. I just got the 6-24×50. Just beware... the crosshairs are very thin and hard to see in the woods and/or in anything but bright lite. I love the scopes clarity but i would not have bought it had i known it was that thin.

If it can really handle the D54 (RWS DIANA MODEL 54 AIRKING???) then I believe it should handle just about any springer out there.

If ONLY the Weaver V24 wasn't almost twice as expensive, it would be my 17oz of perfection. Then again, on a bench gun, heavier is just fine too. But you are for sure on the one point ! The only other factory powered springer I know of which is as scope deadly, is the Crow Magnum/Eliminator, which I am also going to purchase as soon as I find one I want.
The reason the VT T looks so good, is with free shipping, and after the 10 perfect off for signing up, it is $250 to my door. Any other 24x scope that inexpensive THIS bright and clear?
