Benjamin Discovery .22 need rebuild

Are you looking for parts, or help troubleshooting or tuner to do the repair?

From the sounds of it you may have already opened it up, was it leaking and if so do you know where?
Is the rifle stock? and does cocking the action feel the same as it did previously?

Not to bombard you with questions but it will help narrow down what may be giving you trouble.

If you took it all the way down, I would check the hammer chamber and make sure it's clean and lubed with some moly. Check the surface of the hammer and see if you see any marks. I'm thinking sear drag. Polish time and add the 2 or 3 screw mod to the trigger, ball point pin spring, makes a huge difference.

Sometimes those plastic trigger housing get warped over time and takedown, and can cause the sear to sit deeper into the tube.
