I want to increase the FPS out of my disco without using a lighter pellet and was told I could drill out the transfer port to increase velocity, Can anyone give me any recommendations on what I should start with and what I can max out at on the ID of the transfer port? Also what's the best way to do this without trashing the transfer port?

I found that graph online and it is the older discovery with lighter spring. The newer model discovery I believe have stiffer spring and the stock transfer port in mine measured .140". If you make the transfer port larger you may need to drill out the valve as well. I found it easier to get an adjustable hammer spring tensioner and increase the velocity that way.

I tried an adjustable hammer spring tensioner and it only increased the fps by about 20 fps and made it extremely difficult to cock the rifle so I removed it. Honestly I'm not sure I did it correctly, but didn't like it. I really don't want to go drilling into the rifle, but talked with someone who really knows his air rifles and this was his quick fix to get more power out of the disco.
