That is what the FWB and those diopter sights are designed for specifically that type (bulls eye size) 10 meter target. Stretch the range out and if far enough you will need a larger bullseye for best sighting.

I have had my 300s for 40 something years and never have had a desire to put a scope on it. In an earlier post I mentioned a Gehmann diopter with a bunch of fancy features, I did forget that it had a magnifying feature that allows a better focus on either the target or front sight disk at my option. I shoot outdoors under varying conditions so after getting this fancy diopter learned that for me a simpler version is better.
