Dim scope

I have 3 Athlon Argos 6x24x50. 2 MOA 1 MIL. ( for beginners, decide on MOA or MIL don't mix. Just complicates clicks) gen1 probably 4+ yrs.

These have been great , clear, bright and true. It seems to me, the MIL scope has dimmed. It is noticeably darker, to me, I boxed it yesterday after being unable to get a good sight picture @ 180 yds.

Has any one run into this? Have suggestions or comments?

Fogging? Just a guess here but over time the gas can escape that keeps the lens clear.

I would make sure the lenses are clean and it’s properly adjusted. If it’s not either of those things I would contact Athlon and start a warranty claim.

What I Do know,is that Athlon Will take care of it!
