I finally found the ideal platform for hunting small game in my area. I live in SoCal where it is mostly scrub desert. There are plenty of rabbits and doves, along with a smattering of varmints. My Weihrauch is good for any small game out to 50 yards; balls-on accurate, and quiet as a mouse... well, you know ! The .177 provides a flat enough trajectory to where I don't even need to apply hold-offs. And the pistol format is ideal for carry and quick deployment. I'm actually baggin' more game than I did with my Daystate Pulsars, FX Impact, and RAW .357! Also, I no longer need my compressor or tank; my Hill hand-pump is just fine. I'm a true believer.
