Hi, everybody. The DIFTA Maryland State Championship match is this Sunday, June 12, at the WAC-IWLA near Damascus, MD. Come and try to un-seat reigning state champions Tinh Nguyen, Ray Apelles, and Vince Sempronio!
Once again, we are trying a mix of Saturdays and Sundays this year, so regulars note that this match is on Sunday. Registration and final target setup will be at 9:00 AM. The sight-in range will be open after the targets are ready for the match, which will begin at 10:00 AM. Registration is $10 for non-DIFTA members, $5 for members, and $0 for first-timers.
Without direct confirmation from Paolo, I'm guessing we'll be facing a 72-shot match, and I'm also guessing that we should brush up on our position shooting.
The next matches after this are on Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, August 14.
