Pleassssse don't say I don't care, but.....

I have little sympathy for most varmints, squirrels included. They eat rival colony's young (cannibalization) while they're still alive, just like prairie dogs, badgers, weasels, starlings, crackles, and many other species. And those young are very much alive when they do. 

Sorry, but I don't care if they suffer once in a while.

I suspect everyone has had this happen to them at least once in a while.
I hate when it happens..... I look and look for that damn squirrel when it does happen to me.. ... knowing full well it was hit and
just may have died in the tree or a few yards away.... just drives me nuts not knowing where it went...

I see less of this now that I switched to only using .25 while hunting squirrel....

I guess folks aren't' seeing the joke. That squirrel wasn't shot. It was rolling around in the dirt like it was a dog in a cow pasture. When I knocked on the window it stopped playing and went up the tree.

Well, if that is the case, it either has mange or fleas. Either way, I'd put it out of its misery!
