Did my FWB Sport mutate?!

After restoring my HW55M and getting some pellets through it I decided to bring out my new FWB Sport. When I first got the gun I felt that the shot cycle was very good but not great; the trigger seemed very good to me, though. After shooting about 50 pellets through it yesterday I was amazed at how good it is. I believe the best is yet to come and whilst I had considered having it tuned I now will wait and put 500 pellets through it then make my decision. Maybe asking if this gun has "mutated" I should have said "matured". I've read many of the negative comments after this airgun was introduced but in my case this piece belongs right next to my HW55M. Yes, I know they are two distinct and very different airguns but both represent the very highest quality in airguns with impeccable heritage.

If you own one, please let me know what your experience has been with the FWB Sport (new).

Regards,

Bill

The best two-stage sporter trigger of any spring piston rifle ever made.

These rifles were very underrated. I love mine.

I bought mine from Flying Dragon. Mike installed a new spring guide. It's shot cycle is just great. I previously bought one from a different dealer but had to send it back because of defective trigger. With the factory spring guide, it was still very nice. I now have shot probably 20 tins and consider this rifle excellent. The fit and finish is what you expect from FWB. The iron sights are the best I've seen. Accuracy is comparable to my TX200 and HW77. It's my best breakbarrel in my collection. The trigger on this new rifle is comparable to any Record and easily adjustable to your desire. I like a short first stage and under 2 lb 2nd stage. I will never sell this breakbarrel, worth every penny.

Dang those FWB's are good lookers, Iwas on the fence because of all the misinformation. One would have to have it tuned , trigger reworked , etc. Well I can still keep an eye out for 1. I do have a 124D that is mint with the sights missing that I would part with. Maybe I could find a trader. It ain't like I need another, the ones I have are eating me out of house and home.

Perhaps you may have already seen it, but I wrote up a short review on the FWB Sport about a year ago.
