Did JSB Po Joe baby?

Is there any end to this nonsense?

Now the slugs are getting short.

The dealers are pushing guns they don't have.

It's a strange world thrust upon us.

Not sure if this pertains to what you are referring to, but when you pay people more NOT to work than they can make WORKING, they don't work.

Shortages and MANY other problems follow.

I'm 72. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. Check the price increases in any big box store, home depot, walmart, your grocery store, fuel, water, electricity, et all. They have all taken the opportunity of the "Pandemic" to raise prices under the various guises of the vague "increased costs, lask of materials", ect. There are some legitimate increases but they are having a field day hitting the consumer's wallet with everything from "fees" to charges for laundering throw away rags. This isn't the 1st time. I learned from my parents that after WWII a simple flashlight was almost unattainable at any price and when they were available the price equalled a good carpenter's wages for an 8hr day. Guy came around wanting to spray the interior and exterior of our home. $500 " we have increased costs" he left shaking his head after offering to do it for $130 and the usual statement " this price is only good today" and it was 4pm. I doubt a lot of prices I see, claims made, statements about "in stock," "ships tomorrow". Sales people? remember the used car salesman, perhaps some of you are to young for that one. Doubt everything you are told, check it out every way you can. Make sure you really need it,can afford it, know it will improve your life. We are back in the days of the wooden nickel again. Buy From quality manufactures through quality dealers with a reputation not for good service but excellent service. Cover Your A$$. GBGUNNER

The vast majority of guns and pellets aren't manufactured here so I don't think you can blame increased unemployment payments for the shortages.

I don't know about overseas, but here in the U.S. there is a huge shortage of workers. Everywhere I look I see help wanted signs, fast food restaurants with only the drive up open because they can't find help to man the counters.

Among all this, I saw written on the back window of an suv, "just graduated, help us have an incredible summer". Then a Venmo account to donate money.

Too lazy to work for what they want. Learned that from mommy and daddy no doubt

I'd agree with you if you were buying direct from those manufacturers and they were personally delivering it. But what happens once your package gets to the US Port and there is no one to move it from there? Even if it were delivered on one of those self driving vehicles someone still has to put it on there.

The real problem is inflation. Our annual budget is about 2 Trillion. That is 1000 BILLION x 2. Trump exceeded that by over a Trillion. Biden wants to spend five Trillion in excess of the current budget for "Covid relief" and 'infrastructure". The $700/week in unemployment benefits and $1400 checks are paltry sums compared to the monies dedicated to every orphaned, long term program on the Congressional wish list. 75% of these monies are going to voting block groups and causes not even remotely related to covid or the most expansive definition of infrastructure.

Inflation impacts everyone - but especially the working poor who will never keep up. Everything costs more because we print money and throw it around like a drunk on shore leave.

The USD is the Reserve Currency of the world. The world trades in dollars because of its stability. As Americans we do not understand or appreciate what this means. If the Euro, Yuan or other foreign currency takes its place we are screwed 14 ways to Sunday.

During the Obama spending "recession" ten years ago, the USD was downgraded for the first time in modern history. The coming inflation is geometrically greater than what we experienced then. Very scary stuff is on the horizon.

Decent explanation, but please refrain from going any further down the political rabbit hole. Thanks
