I'm 72. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. Check the price increases in any big box store, home depot, walmart, your grocery store, fuel, water, electricity, et all. They have all taken the opportunity of the "Pandemic" to raise prices under the various guises of the vague "increased costs, lask of materials", ect. There are some legitimate increases but they are having a field day hitting the consumer's wallet with everything from "fees" to charges for laundering throw away rags. This isn't the 1st time. I learned from my parents that after WWII a simple flashlight was almost unattainable at any price and when they were available the price equalled a good carpenter's wages for an 8hr day. Guy came around wanting to spray the interior and exterior of our home. $500 " we have increased costs" he left shaking his head after offering to do it for $130 and the usual statement " this price is only good today" and it was 4pm. I doubt a lot of prices I see, claims made, statements about "in stock," "ships tomorrow". Sales people? remember the used car salesman, perhaps some of you are to young for that one. Doubt everything you are told, check it out every way you can. Make sure you really need it,can afford it, know it will improve your life. We are back in the days of the wooden nickel again.
