Did anyone get in on the Element Nexus deal last week?

That was the first time I had seen them under 1K.

Correct, they are the Japanese version.

The Clearidge can still be had for 369 at their website as well for a 6-20 made in Japan scope. Very similar to the Unobtainium Bushnell 4200. Both focus down to 10 yards. It appears Japanese products are about to have a substantial price increase due to cost and availability of raw materials. Probably good to snag these kinds of deals while we can.

I spoke with the owner of Clearidge yesterday and they confirmed that all their scopes are made in Japan and all are magnum springer rated.

The Clearidge XP5 4.5-22.5x50 side focus on ebay is $329 plus $6.99 shipping. Regular price is around $449. Seller appears to have 100% positive feedback and offers 30 day returns and buyer pays shipping.

It has a 25 yard minimum side focus and had already been reviewed by several shooters who stated it is manufactured by Light Optic Works in Japan in the same factory as the high end Weaver and Bushnell Elite scopes.

Note that no other dealer sells this cheaply and typically and $449 or $499. One reviewer even paid $580 delivered for his many years ago.
