See, I learn something every day. I hope I never have to deal with them. Hopefully they don’t breed like regular rats. If so, I can’t imagine the damage they could do.

Get some of your airgun buds and hunt them all down. They will ruin that creek in no time. They do multiply quickly. They are pretty wary. You need to find a quiet hiding place within range. Wait for them to pop up their ugly heads. They can be tricky to hunt. If they are in their burrows they can hear you walking above ground and won't come out.

I’m in Pa. I never heard them mentioned. Even by my trapping buddies. That’s why I checked out this topic. The only newly reintroduced PITA that we have to deal with are fishers.
