Diana Skyhawk on AOA

anybody else see the Diana Skyhawk on the AOA website? (I think it’s for pre orders) Thoughts and opinions on this rifle, do you think it will be a steal for the price or a bust? From what I saw on AEAC it’s suppose to be regulated, I’m interested to see where it will stand amongst “entry” level BullPups, such as Kral’s Puncher Breaker and the Artemis P15.

From past experiance with the P15 I found the only problem was the horrible magazines. That was in .25 dnk about .177 or .22. The mags were misaligned and clipped pellets when loading and they also lost the little retaining ball on the rotating mag cover. That may be fixed by Diana. The gun itself was quite good for that price point. I know a few guys with the .177 and .22 that rave about them. I would expect Diana to stand behind the guns and would not be afraid of it. Keep us posted if you try one.

So the outlaw looked awsome and I think Hajimoto has a video about modifications to the guantlet magazines that would fix that problem. I am not sure but i think the guantlet mags are in fact the same as the m16 or outlaw. Correct me if im wrong I never shot one myself but again they loik cool, almost bought one but got the field and target instead.

Raden- The outlaw and gauntlet have different magazines. The gauntlet has a magazine that reminds me of the marauder’s while the outlaw reminds me of a cheap, plastic Daystate/Brocock magazine.

Sylvan- yes, I like the same thing about AOA. I also like that they include the 5 shot group and Chrony numbers. At Pyramid air you have to pay an extra fee.

SoCold- I saw a post on the members classified that someone was selling them. If I decided to get one, I think I’d contact the seller to get one and test. If they’re good id buy 2 or 3 more rather than have flimsy ones. I like having 2 magazines minimum for my rifles. My wildcat has 3 and my Streamline has 2.
