I just got my stock barrel back from my local gunsmith (crown rework) and put the rifle back together to see if accuracy was improved. Shot 2 pellets and the cocking lever pin fell out and got lost. I knew about the cocking lever pin issue but didn't think it would happen with less than 100 pellets through the gun. Called PA and talked with Stacy. She hadn't heard of this issue but requested I wait on hold while she checked with some SPA (Chinese manufacture of this rifle) representatives that were visiting PA. When she came back she said SPA was aware of the issue and is now knurling the top of the pin. She said she had a recent Skyhawk that had been returned because of shroud issues and she would take the knurled cocking lever pin out and send it to me. Received the pin yesterday and pressed it in. Seems like this may resolve this issue. According to Stacy, PA should have the new cocking lever pins in stock in about 30 days. Hats off to Stacy and PA for the great support. Unfortunately I have too much snow to do accuracy testing now.
