The directions are not very explicit If at all . , Does the spring end go towards the muzzle or the Breach ?

Concur. The recoil is back and then forward. You want the sled (holding the scope) to let the gun slide back underneath it. I think as the spring is only to push the sled to "zero", it should be in back so that there is room for the gun to slide back on that first back recoil.
I explain only because I have to re-think it every time I re-mount mine.

is it a new one or older , i have both and the older (6 or 7 years) one can be wiggly . the rails were a bit thin . The new one i just got is very solid

If you look around just right you may find mods and fixs on these zr mounts .. hector mendosa guy use to beef them up

Yes i copied his drill and set screw fix , works great . But the new one i just bought is a tight fit to the rails .

Pa claims droop compensation
Thing is maybe once im done with this fish fry i seen like 2 or 3 of yhe bullseye mounts. 2 for sure and they had different lettering on the mounts .
Like one has diana printed only ( i pictured above ) and another has bullseye zr mount printed on it no diana .
