Diana Bandit and Buck-Rail “The Hawkeye” Red Dot scope

Hello everyone,

I decided to remove the factory rear Iron Sight from my Diana Bandit and mount a Buck-Rail The Hawkeye Red Dot scope today. I am impressed with the quality of this inexpensive scope, it is heavy for the size and very well machined. I had been target shooting with my Springfield Armory M1 Carbine .177cal BB Rifle earlier in the day and had shot up a target pretty good and rather than put a new target up to test the Red Dot I put blue tape over all the BB holes and moved the target frame under the carport because it had started to rain. In order to set up a 10-Meter range I moved my benchrest inside my shop and opened one of the French doors. It only took 5-shots to zero the Red Dot so I covered those holes with tape and got serious with my shooting. The last photo shows a full clip ( 9-shots ) ( H&N Field Target Trophy 8.64gr ), shot at the target in a .4185" hole. I am really pleased with this Gun / Scope combination.

Be safe and have a great day,
ThomasT
