Is there any FFP scopes that can survive being on a 54. Was just wondering since everyone seems to call these scope killers.

If you use Diana Bullseye mount you can use any scope you want. I get mine from Hector Medina because he goes through them to make the work perfectly. Worth the extra money when using a expensive scope.

My Diana 52 wasted a couple of scopes in short order a Hawke Airmax 3x12x40 and a UTG Accushot Swat 3x12x44. So I got the Diana bullseye and have not had any problems since. The mounts are made in China these days though so you know how that is.

I hear ya, not really wanting to use a Diana Bullseye mount. Really have no faith in a system like that for repeatable accuracy.

I'm with you on that. It's what keeps me from the 54. But my 48 has had a vortex Diamondback on top of it for well over 7,000 rounds no problem...

This swfa 10x going on 5 years and a ton of shots. No worry if it break. No questions asked .

Two thoughts. I use a Hawke Sidewinder 6-24x56 on my 56 (same rifle different stock) and have shot several thousand pellets with it and no issues. Recently, I had Tom at Vortek make a special kit for me,tuning it down to 15.5 ft lbs. it is a dream to shoot with absolutely no noticeable recoil, easy to cock, and shoots one hole groups at 20 yards and 3/4” groups or less at 50 yards. Absolutely no issue for a good scope the way it shoots now.

Put a tune kit in it. That will knock out a lot of what kills scopes. If it were me I would us a Sportsmatch Dampa mount over the Diana Bullseye, which I am not a fan of. I have always tuned my 54's and never turned the power down. Just use good mounts and good scopes. Bushnell Elites used to be the way to go, but these days the mark is flooded and a lot of them are overpriced for what you get. If it were mine I would assume a Hawke Airmax FFP can survive. If it breaks, send it back and they will give you another one
