I like thumbhole stocks, and find them more comfortable to shoot. Is this possible. And if so, where can I get the stock?

Umarexusa is probably the only place to order something like that...be prepared for sticker shock!!! There basically the same gun...

I don’t want to trade for a 470, I just want the stock. I would like to keep my old stock just in case I decide to go back. I change my mind so often, I’ll at least have options.

Smart idea on keeping the old stock, OP. Some folks report that a thumbhole stock contributes to a loss of accuracy since the rifle likes to torque to the right as the spring unwinds when fired. If you find that to be the case, then you have an immediate out.

Purchased a 56TH stock (only) from Pyramyd a bit more than a year ago. Don't see why they can't order a 470 stock for you. Try contacting them, they might surprise you. Watch for my 470, thinking about selling it in the not too distant future.
