Diana 460 in 22 Questions

I sold mine... but here's what I recall;

1 Not hold sensitive that I could tell, I usually shot from a rest, accurate out to 40-50yds - not ragged hole accurate @ those ranges, but larger critter kill accurate.

2 16gr AA mostly shot.

3 760's fps

4 Installed PG2 Vortek - smoother cocking and shot cycle - sold likely before fully broke-in.

5 Never measured cocking weight - slight difference noticed after Vortek

Reason for selling.... went to pcp, 460 didn't get the use it deserved, needed space.

Just put mine up for sale. Only had it for about 6 months, and only about 150 pellets through it, But it wasn’t hold sensitive. I used cphp mostly which were accurate out to about 35yds. Anything more than that, and the 15.89 and 18 jsbs as well as hades were good to shoot. I don’t have a chrony, but most people were getting around 25flbs out of it, with the factory spring. I haven’t owned mine for long enough to look into spring kits for it, but it was never twangy or springy sounding when shut. A nice dull thud when shot, and a good amount of recoil to go with it. If it wasn’t for the recoil, I’d probably keep it, but being spoiled by high end pcp’s, it’s not doing it for me any more. It’s currently in the classifieds for trade for something similar but not magnum power.
