Diana 430L Breech Seal Dimensions?

Can't find a replacement and my current one was so far beyond melted I can't even begin to clone it. Anyone have any info on these things? Thanks in advance!
Yep. Those are mighty hard to replace. And when you do replace them the replacement won't hold up. Back in the day long time ago they used to make those kind of things out of leather. If You have an old pair of shoes or an old belt around you'll probably be able to make one I did and it works for me. I have no idea what the dimensions were because I put the piece of leather in there and closed the bolt on it made an impression in the leather cut it out. Lubed it real good with silicon Grease and plugged it in. Seems to be holding up.

Did you soak your leather seal? If so, how long and any recommendations for what to use?

My plan of attack is to make a nipple that fits inside the compression tube that I can stack TX200 breech seals on. The nipple will provide protection to the seal and funnel air straight into the barrel. Even if it burns out TX seals, they're a dime a dozen. I imagine they'll last significantly better than the original design though.
