Diana 34 fliers

What is causing it? Breech seal? This afternoon I went to the shop and shot my TX200 and my Diana 34, both are .177 the 34 has a Vortek PG3 full power kit in it. This rifle seems has a flyer in it from time to time. Today I shot it off a bench at 10M, the flyer really shows up at 20 yards. As you can see from the five shot groups the rifle can shoot but the flyer really buggs me. If it were me I'd think it would show up in my other rifles and there were none with the TX, I shot the same pellets in both rifles.

Thanks, Justin

What trigger does the 34 have...? The Tx trigger is as good as it gets if adjusted.. flyers can be caused by the crown on the barrel.. Not a lot needs to be done but a good cleaning and brass screw and lapping compound.
Also have you tested it in a chrony. The flyer may be the one shot that’s down or up. Piston seals and lube inn-chamber can cause it .. check your breech seal as 34 are famous for leaks.. Use Toilet paper , the thin single layer stuff. Wrap top and fire.. if it’s leaking it will tear it ..

Thanks guys. The rifle has a TO6 trigger, it's not as good as the TX trigger but it's pretty decent. The Vortek PG3 kit has been in the rifle for about five or six years.
Open it up. A gun should be maintained every year .. like a car. .. if your shooting it.. you may have a broken coil..
maybe not , but 5 Years is too long. .. just saying. Cheers 🥂
