Diana 280 .177

New here and just recently got back into the game from a 12 year hiatus.

Picked up this t06 .177cal D280 premium and matched her up with a hawke vantage 3-9x40 and an air venturi muzzle break.

Gotta say I sure missed having a high quality German break barrel, and such a sweet shooter at 12ftlbs.
Hold sensitively is minimal and shot cycle is short, smooth, and quick.
Ive got no complaints on the t06 trigger either, I actually kinda prefer it over the HW record due to the blade being closer to the grip.

Most importantly though, she prints:

(JSB exact express 7.9gr .452 28yrds 5 shots)

Suprised these never got much fan fair, I like it better then the HW50s I once had years back.

Not a huge fan of laser checkering but they did a nice job on your 280. Looks nicer than the Weihrauch Beech ambidextrous stock. IMHO. Keep us updated with accuracy/firing behavior. Very nice gun. Congratulations. Thank you for sharing.

Yeah I don't think RWS ever did import the 280, which is a shame.It's a nice balance between an R7 and R9 imo.

I have 2 R7's in .177 and .20 and an R9 in .20 plus it's cousin the HW95 in .22. Never got the 50 since I have a custom built D34K .20 that, depending on which spring kit I have in it, shoots between 12-14 fpe and fills that spot.

Little bit of an update:

Noticed this thing has gotten a little bit more powerful as it's breaking in with a tin of pellets through her (can now fully pass through 3/4 inch fence board vs before when new it would just barley stop before passing through).

The accuracy of this break barrel continues to amaze me...

Nope, full powered license required model.

Advertised at 850fps in .177, it's essentially a 12ftlb gun that was marketed for the UK.
Don't think RWS ever imported it for you guys.
