Diana Diana 25 branded Gecado but with Hy-score Medallion too?

Does anyone recall the year or years when the Diana started stamping their airguns (AGs) with the Hy-score (HS) brand.

I bought an Hy-score 801 (Diana 25) stamped with Gecado brand and it has Hy-score medallion too. There is a Beeman collection tag on the rifle.

I never seen a air rifle or pistol that wore had the Hy-score (HS) medallion in the stock but the airgun is missing Hy-score model number always stamped on the compression tube. I am both young and inexperienced so hopefully someone could tell me about if they are rare/uncommon and production year(s).

That combo of "Gecado" - stamped action and "Hy-Score" stock medallion is actually typical of Hy-Score's early post-war Diana imports. I would speculate Mr. Laszlo simply bought some already made up actions from Diana, then added the medallion in his own shop.

I have two Hy-Score model 27's. The older one has the same combo:

On the older gun, Hy-Score's model number ("Mod. 807") is faintly stamped into the wood under the medallion. The newer one omits this, since of course it has the Hy-Score stamps in the metal.

FWIW...both guns are .22 cal. The later one has a subtly more rounded stock and adds the spot-welded scope rail, click-adjusting rear sight, and hooded front sight. The 27 is not a speed demon in .22, but very accurate and smooth - fun to shoot.

It's fascinating (well to a nerd like me anyhow) to track the small changes on these! Another characteristic of the earlierst postwar 27's, including my older H-S one, is the rather slab-sided butt, and somewhat angular ridges above the grip as you can see in my first photo above. Later 27's are more rounded and hand-friendly.

Does your model 25 have "Mod. 801" stamped under the stock medallion?

It's odd to me that most (all?) H-S model 27's are in .22 cal, but their imports of the more powerful model 35 ("Hy-Score model 809") are .177.
