Detuning a Rapid mk 2 FAC

I'd like to lower the energy level on a regulated Rapid mk 2 (.22) from the 31fpe that it currently shoots to a maximum of 20fpe for use in American HFT. I'm sure this is possible through reg and hammer adjustment, but I'd like to hear if anyone has actually done it with this rifle and what the results were.
Thanks in advance,
Ryan

Has to be a " fast flow" if shooting at that power level, yours is after 2002 please let us know if you find a listing for Theobens after 2002.
Uses 2 hammer springs? Tuned a good bit above factory by someone once?

You might try talking to David Slade of Theoben USA
http://www.airgunwerks.com/
Knows everything there is to know about Rapids and a very nice fellow and if you need it does excellent work ( and re-bluing) completing the job in less than stated time.
Someone else here should have insights as we do have some of the great legends of yesteryear ( back when people still purchase long single shot rifles with wood & such ). They are straight forward rifles and built like a fine tank.
I like pictures better than video and this tutorial seems spot on to me:
