Daystate Delta Wolf - Why isn't it more popular?

Agreed. I cannot fathom spending north of 3k new when the used market is well below 2k
And now even less

If there are lemons in the product world they ALWAYS have a way of finding their way to my doorstep
I’ve had several Air Wolfs, still have one in .22. My buddy has one in .177. I’ve had several Red Wolfs. I’ve had several Pulsars. I’ve had several Delta Wolfs. I’ve sold many of these above as well. Never had one fail. Of course there will be those that will.

Agree. I’ve had two DW, two RW, and two Pulsars. I can’t say they never fail, since on one of the DW and one of the Pulsars I’ve had a micro switch fail. That’s an easy repair, but it still puts the gun down until replaced. Both of those were after many thousands of shots over a period or years.

I almost pulled the trigger on one a few times. The real deal breaker for me were the reports that the gun resets the software every time it is powered off and back on... needing a few shots to get back to the desired FPS. That was a few years ago and I don't know if they've ever fixed that.
Yes, it’s fixed. The gun uses the settings in place when it turned off when you turn it back on.

Im 64. A lifelong industrial electrician for the past 25 years at a major utility. Electronics can be reliable! But in no fail situations there is redundancy and cheap parts are not usually used. Airguns are probably not comparable. If a board fails you probably can't fix it without a replacement if it will still be available. Orings, springs and linkages can always be found. I dont care to complicate something simple like a airgun. One thing I didnt care for on the electric controlled gun I had for a few days is that it always has stored energy as in when shot it recharges with only a micro switch keeping it from operating. That just wasn't for me. But I see the advantage that can be had being able to adjust controls with varying a voltage signal. I have worked on too many high dollar electrical components that were state of the art. I fall into the KISS category

Daystate accessories are beyond ridiculously priced too. However, that isn’t DW specific and the brand is popular so presumably people are buying insane things like a 150 dollar rubber butt pad for an airgun. Lol. I just wish I had an extra 2600 for that blue edition alpha wolf in the classifieds
Sorry friend it's presently being shipped to my house
