Delta Wolf question?

I have a 177 Delta Wolf and a 177 M3. One of the biggest differences between the 2 is how easy the M3 can achieve high speeds with a much lower reg pressure. For example, shooting 13gr zan slugs. I can get them flying around 1000fps with the reg only around 115 to 120 bar with the M3. To achieve close to the same speed with the Wolf the reg must be around 170 to 180 bar. I have noticed the transfer port hole on the barrel of the Delta Wolf is pretty small. Has anyone opened this up to gain fps??? Do you guys think this would help?

Yes... which barrel does it have? The 17" will be more limited compared to the 23" poly. I would elongate to the rear, not drill out. You DO NOT want the projectile to fall down into the port. The small ports help regulate the velocity at lower powers and DS is typically frugal with port size.

Bob, thanks for your input! It has the 23". I"ll try to work up the nerve in the next week or so. Will post some before and after results!
