delta Wolf on test

I just finished watching his initial impressions. After having shot the Red Wolf 🐺 for the past three years, I can not wait to get one of the new Delta Wolf rifles in my hands. For me, the question comes down to which caliber? 🤤. My current lean is towards a .22 caliber for bench shooting. However with the exchangeable barrel system, I might just pick up a second barrel to give it a go. There is nothing better than that electronic trigger.

If you get the extra barrel's w/the chrony in place , the change out should take less than 5 minutes from what I was shown. Not sure what is involved if changing the chrony from barrel to barrel .

So this is what happens when you cross a Red Wolf with an FX impact? Looks like a great gun. I think there is little doubt FX is going to not let this go unchallenged. In fact I’ve heard rumors that FX has something exciting in the pipe line. Great time to be an air gunner if they could just get the guns to the dealers. Rather expensive but certainly state of the art.

Looks like a single screw to hold the barrel in place. Guess it’s just a electronic Impact.

Or is the impact a pellet version of an AR rifle. Or actually since it loads in the rear maybe a Steyr AUG ? On board chrony, computer board adjustments of everything except if you want to bump up the Huma reg for power!!! Count me in....👍

The earlier talk included Bluetooth connectivity and control via cell phone. I hope this is still the case and that it just wasn't covered in this review.

Also, the past pictures showed the ability to move the screen from the right to the left side of the gun. I also hope this feature is carried out. This is a big deal to lefty's who have to go around to the other side to read the screen on any of the electronic Daystates.

I know I'm an older guy that likes a traditional rifle with a little wood attached to it. The newer rifles all look like a hunk of metal with a barrel attatched. I know they are accurate and powerful but they are not very nice looking to me. My FX400 has a large 580cc bottle on it but it still looks like a rifle to me. So much for being traditional. Have fun, Scott
