Was wanting to pull the barrel to do some cleaning. Loosened the set screw and pulled and no movement. I did not twist at all because i know the electrical connections will get broke. I set it straight up and put some CLP break free on the lower part of the barrel to soak. Will try in the morning. Anyone else have the same trouble trying to remove the barrel.

The wires are connected with a few pins that open up when you remove the barrel. The tolerances on the delta wolf are very precise. It might take a little bit of a pull to get out. When I cleaned mine it had very little movement. Just make sure you blackout the screw enough and don't force it. You can also just remove the screw completely.

I removed the screw completely and took a plastic delron rod and tapped the barrel shroud lightly but i thought hard enough to budge it. I pulled harder than i wanted to on the carbon fiber shroud didn't even make the gap between the frame and the barrel shroud any bigger. That was when i scratched my head.

Humm that's strange. Mine comes out with ease after the first time. I would call aoa before you try to much and end up braking the shroud. I wouldn't clean it with the barrel installed just to keep the cleaning solution away from the electrical components. Which version do you have. The newer model has the tooless adjustable regulator.

No mine is the older model. Need. Flat head screw driver. Yes that is what i was afraid of by pulling on the shroud. I figured once i got it out it would be easy after that.

I got it out with a little love. Had to tap lightly with a delron rod after soaking in some CLP Break free. Was stubborn to say the least. Buffed with some JB bore paste in the seating area and now comes out nice and tight like it should. All good now.
