Delta Wolf 22 - 23" vs 17"

It seems there are not any DWs with 17" barrels being sold on the major sites.

Is there a reason for that other than everyone wants the most FPE available? Is there a different valve, regulator, hammer, or spring used for tuning down that nobody wants?

Thanks for your patience as I'm doing my preliminary research. You all have been there. :)
 
I have a 17" in 177 and also 22. I believe that they are intended for sub 12 ft lb and sold in Great Britain on software controlled sub 12 rifles.
The 2 I have are both VERY accurate at the lower powers(sub 20 in 177 and sub 30 in 22) but the poly's are superior in giving higher bc's and power. They will go pretty low in power and still shoot well with appropriate ammo so I'm not sure why one would want the 17" other than compactness.
