Delta Stryker Repair

I contacted them and got a quick response. The problem is the focus is off by about 8 yards but it may be my eyesight. I have astigmatism which adds to the problem. I’m going to let someone with better eyesight try it before I move forward.

Which Delta Stryker do you have? Is it the 4.5-30×56, 5-50×56, or 1-6×24? I wouldn't worry about the parallax being off by 8 yards. What distance and magnification do you have it set at where it's out of focus?

Some ideas

The dipoter setting on the ocular eyepiece affects where a scope will focus in respect to distance and where your parallax adjusts at a distance or distances. You've got a small amount of rotation on the diopter for the reticle to be in focus which can be fudged a bit by turning it in and out while still allowing the reticle to be enough in focus that its hard to tell its not perfectly in focus at either extreme.

99% of Field Target shooters use a larger side wheel on their scopes and put a tape on it which has the distance markings they made that work for "their eyes". It can still be done on a smaller side wheel but the distances for the markings will be closer together.

Actually for me very few scopes have the correct distance markings on the side wheel so I use the strategies outlined above if I NEED to get the distances close which for guns other than for FT I'm not concerned about honestly.
