Using it on a PCP is an overkill. This is a good long range scope for firearms.

sunny, the best glass you want always improves accuracy.

One thing, since I come from an optics back ground, I would like to see scopes put to a resolution board.

This tells one how good the optics are, then the operation is the other side.

Yeah only problem with a resolution test is my camera gear changes as.i try new lenses yo try and get the best footage possible. It is HARD to get footage that looks right without doctoring it . Which I don't do . Plus I would need a series of scopes all at the same time which I can't afford . But I'm doing best I can with the reviews . I'm hoping to do more top quality scopes in the future . I have 2 lined up

I just got it's bigger brother a week ago. The 5-50x56 ....I couldn't agree with you more....very very nice scope...the imagie quality is phenomenal. It will give Schmidt and Bender,Kahles,March,Nightforce a run for their money at half the cost.

These have to be seen to be believed . It's low light clarity REALLY shows what it's got going on inside !!!

I always wanted a top tier scope. I've looked at NightForce in this price range a few times. Its either a scope in this price or a thermal scope at twice the cost. I wish I could have both but only in my dreams.

I have one with the older turret style and did have the 50X as well, it is not far off the quality of scopes twice the price.

Delta had a stand at a show in the UK a few months back, really nice guys.

Certainly looks like an excellent scope but note that close focus is 25 yards. I don't often shoot an air rifle closer than that personally and may try one of these but much is made about close focus for air gun use so it might be an issue for some.

The close focus thing for me is a non issue . I never shoot any closer than that . For Airguns to me if it will focus 25 yards that's close enough ....If you insist on 10 yards focus , it cuts out a LOT of great scopes . So I just use what's best for me

It also leaves a lot of great scopes available for those who want or need focus inside 10 yards. Seems it will depend on each individuals desires but it does look like a very nice scope and should be an excellent choice for some people.

The 5-50x56 focuses down to 10yds....great FT scope and if I had to give a slight negative about the scope I'd say it's reticle is kinda thin. This is on the bigger model...I have no experience with the.model Joe reviewed.

How is the ranging by focus on the 5-50x56, in the context of field target? 

When arriving at "clear" is there a gradual arrival and departure from clear or a very distinct, CLEAR and NOT CLEAR?
