Well sometimes, when we really want something or love spending money on new things,we only hear what we want to hear. When I travel, all my guns travel in soft cases except 2 of them. My Impact and Dreamline Compact travel in hard cases. They are sensitive guns. They are great guns that I won’t part with but they are not what you eluded to in your opening paragraph. It seems like you can’t find happiness in the airgun world and just keep hopping from one gun to the next. I promise you, no airgun is perfect. Why do you think so many of us have several. It’s not a sickness that many of us joke about, it’s facing the reality that the gun that impresses us from the bench is not the gun that impresses us in the field.

Vetmx

Vetmx wonders why Mack-Attack wants a Impact or Maverick now when his opening paragraph states he wants a gun he can throw around without POI shift. Good guns but there are more robust platforms.

I heard the FX Impact is a pretty tough gun, please tell me more...?

Steve123 suggests that you can start with how thin the barrel is, why there are Orings centering that liner/barrel in an even thinner shroud, and how it is attached to the action with one screw.

Then Steve123 suggest looking how even the crappiest of centerfires are built so much stronger.

Then look at Thomas and USFT, a few other brands also, that cared more about building robust PCP's lacking POI shifts.

If you want something robust, besides Edgun there's not alot of choices. Like Steve mentioned Thomas, USFT, and AAA EVOL are extremely robust guns. You won't find anything else as robust. Taipan Veterans and Kalibrgun Crickets are very robust also as are Vulcans. No new FX airguns are on that list. Royales and Bobcats are but Bobcats are no more.

Mack-Attack thinks Yenniedne is a little jealous, and wants to make him also feel special at some point. Mack-Attack also feels like Yenniedne spends too much time in the members classified section and should spend more time shooting than complaining on the state of the classified section ;)

LOL, you're so spot on with your analysis! Whereas my complaint regarding the state of the classifieds was made in jest, it's incredibly ironic that someone who refers to himself in the 3rd person says that I'm the one that wants to feel special.

When I click on a thread titled "Mack-Attack discusses his experience with Edgun" I fully expect to see to Michael or Anderson Cooper sitting down with you to do an extensive 3 part video interview documenting your ordeal. Then the camera dramatically pans over to you and, lo and behold, you're actually Lebron James or Patrick Mahomes and have decided to join our humble forum to discuss your new hobby!

Sadly, that wasn't the case at all.

Legionair is disappointed Lebron James isn’t Mack-Attack

Its so ironic for you to have high hopes yenni. Man, if only I always referred to myself in the 3rd person I'd probably make you happier than when you fixed two air leaks all by yourself. For some reason I really tick you off huh. Lmao

I think it's all in good fun. Guys mess with each other, I wouldn't give it too much thought. Funny is funny.

Ok, so for good measure I purchase another one from krale. Waiting to see what the gun looks like when it arrives to see if the new gun is any different than the one in my possession. If they won't come out and tell me what the issue is, then I will find it and fix it here state side. I will have a .177 in the 350 a .25 in the 250mm and a .30 in 350 mm

It's an edgun right? The whole reason I am buying is for quality, and longevity - I suppose this is the ultimate test.

Yep, it added alot of frustration on my part, its strange that 3 people have received this issue with Krale that I'm aware of. This would have probably been caught by Brian if purchased through Edgunwest so I can only suggest that if you are from 🇺🇸 , try to purchase direct from Brian at EdgunWest. Krale is taking care of me but its a little easier when dealing with things direct in the US.
