Looking around at Huma regulators and curious how to degass the Urban. Can't find anyting on GAMO or BSA websites.

Dry firing is the recommended method but I think it is possible to slowly loosen the pressure gauge but you may damage the Oring. IMO this gun is not suitable for regulation. Without a lot of trial and error tuning, you will reduce your shot count by 30% and power by around 30 fps. If you want the shot count back you will have to sacrifice a lot more power. In stock tune you are probably getting about 30 shots with a spread of about 25 fps, would you prefer 18 shots and a spread of 15 fps and less power? There is a lot of myths about regulators. They are not magic wands. It is not possible to get more power by adding one and longer flatter shot strings can only be obtained by tuning and sacrificing power.

the urban can be regulated very well BUT adding a regulator is only one part that you have to do. there are a ton of informations availabe how to tune a regulated air gun.
